Aigue Vive has been operating since 1987: it's one of the oldest canoe and kayak rental companies in the Ardèche Gorges. It is a member of the national quality charter.

At the helm of Aigue Vive: Sébastien Papillault, a former athlete who competed in the French Canoe and Kayak Championships, and a certified instructor, and Patrick Giverso, an outdoor sports enthusiast.

Aigue Vive is a team of enthusiasts, determined to share their love for the Ardèche Gorges with you. On average, team members have been here for eight years, a testament to the pleasure they take in returning each year!

With Aigue Vive, you can set off on your descent of the Ardèche River through the Gorges with complete peace of mind: the canoes and kayaks are new and replaced every five years, and the life jackets are cleaned daily.

Our water sports center is registered with the Departmental Directorate of Youth and Sports as an APS (Physical and Sports Activities) facility.
