This canoe trip down the Ardèche is ideal for a picnic.
The trip takes you along a calm stretch of the Ardèche before passing through the small rapids of the Charlemagne. Once you've passed these rapids, you'll reach the Pont d'Arc and its beaches, where you can enjoy swimming.

If this is your first canoeing experience in the heart of the Gorges de l'Ardèche, if you are accompanied by children, or if you just want to enjoy a moment of relaxation and swimming in the Ardèche, we recommend this descent of 13 km and 3 hours of navigation, with passage of slides, picnic, swimming and passage under the Pont d'Arc.

A full-day canoe trip down the Ardèche River. You'll paddle for approximately 5 hours.
This trip takes place entirely within the Ardèche Gorges Nature Reserve and its magnificent landscapes, but be careful, it doesn't pass by the Pont d'Arc!

This day trip is more challenging but will allow you to fully enjoy the area: the route is less crowded than the shorter trips.
We'll take you by bus to the starting point in Châmes and pick you up at the bottom of the Gorges in Sauze. From there, our bus will take you back to our base in Vallon Pont d'Arc.
